Narrative Leadership Training: Public Speaking and Storytelling

The Black Appalachian Coalition (BLAC) is offering a free virtual training on public speaking, presentations, and storytelling. The session will be held on February 26, 12:00–1:30 PM EST, led by Resource Media trainers Adam Hymans and Tariq Rashid.

Kentucky Arts Rising (KY)

Kentucky Arts Rising (KAR) provides operating support for small Kentucky arts organizations with annual revenue under $100,000. The deadline to apply is February 15, 2026, with the grant period running from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

The Steele-Reese Foundation’s Kentucky program serves Appalachian counties with a strong emphasis on early childhood through grade 12 education programming. Applications are currently open, and the application form is due March 2, 2026.
